The sweat lodge was used as a kind of "spiritual sauna". It allowed the renewal and strengthening of a person through a commingling of one's lifeblood (sweat) with that of Mother Earth (steam). | |||
Visit this functional Aboriginal sweat lodge in the west block of the Cypress Hills Provincial Park and experience the healing powers of the "Creator". | |||
