SASK STORIES

Saskatchewan's 100,000 - that's right - one hundred thousand lakes await you!

Get out your swimming trunks, unfurl those sails, dust off your water-skis, take the canoe and tackle box out of storage, and book that cabin or resort.

Lakes are found throughout our province, but many are in the north, where a seemingly endless maze of waterways lures anglers and canoeists year after year.

Majestic rivers like the Churchill and Clearwater beckon today's adventurers, just as they called to the voyageurs more than three centuries ago.

Southern waters sing their own siren song, from the aptly named Calling Lakes in the scenic Qu'Appelle Valley to Lake Diefenbaker with its 800 kilometres of shoreline.
