Igneous
rock that formerly was molten

Ionization
the change of an atom or molecules from an electrically neutral state to a positively or negatively charged state

Ionizing radiation
radiation capable of producing ionization in the matter that it hits

Isotope
all atoms of the same element possess the same number of protons, but may contain different numbers of neutrons. These variations of the element are called isotopes. Thus, C12, C13, C14 are isotopes of the element carbon. Each isotope has the same atomic number but a different atomic weight (mass)
